Just stumbled upon this site and I am so thankful to everyone for the great music. I have been a huge fan for a long time, and this site has added a lot to my current Ray collection. Thanks again to everyone who contributes.

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the KCRW interview they mention at the www.raylamontagne.com site (it's in the news section dated 09/19/2006). Been listening to the streaming audio and it sounds great.

I downloaded just 1 track "Can I Stay" from the Lyons Folk Festival off your download's page so your limit is not exceeded for this month.
This song is absolutely incredible. I was disheartened the live version was only available as a bonus track on iTunes and was not on his actual CD. But now I have it in my collection! The song boasts a quiet simplicity. I could not ask for more. |

I'm a new fan of Rays. I just bought his two albums and I have to say that he's probably one of the greatest artists. I'm a huge Black Crowes fan and I think that his music has the same fell to it. I wish Ray and Chris Robinson would do a duet or write a song together...
Anyways, would someone here be able to set me up with his demo One Lonesome Saddle? I tried downloading this album (I can't believe there's so much of non-released stuff!!!) but all of the links are expired or don't exist anymore... Could someone help me out? I apologize if I come across as a freeloader... trust me, I hate freeloaders... I am a true "new fan" of Rays and I will give back to other new fans as they come to this board... Thanks a lot... Also, are there any DVD's of Rays? If not, is he planning on releasing on soon? Thanks, Pots |

 That's the most brilliant idea I've ever heard! I can't believe I didn't think of The Black Crowes for the "Ray Covers" thread! Can you imagine Ray belting out "Seein' Things"? Not to mention EVERY SINGLE OTHER (good) BLACK CROWES SONG!!!!! I too am a huge fan of The Black Crowes. Only their good songs, though. There's quite a few of them that are flat out horrible.

bruno66uk, you should create two partitions (one for your OS and one for your data) so you don't have to toss out your data when you reformat...

Hello all - been on the board for a long time now but haven't checked in for quite some time. A long time ago, when Ray started getting noticed, there
were 3 live mp3s available from a show in Jan '04 in Nashville at 3rd and Lindsley. Two of them were Trouble & Shelter. I'm not sure on the 3rd.
Anyway, I know I have these saved somewhere, but in an effort to not dig through everything I own, I thought I'd ask here. I was at that show and if I
recall the version of Trouble, specifically, was mind blowing. I didn't see that date listed anywhere in the hosted mp3s so I guess I'll just throw it
