Anyone listening to Clayton Senne? This guys got real talent! His voice is amazing and fits perfectly into the pop/soul music genre! He released an EP last year that you can buy on iTunes called Wonderland. If your inro John Mayer or Gavin DeGraw, your gonna love Clayton Senne!

Jason Castro, the 4th place finisher on American Idol is a HUGE Ray LaMontagne fan. He has been talking about Ray non-stop since Idol began calling him his "favorite musician" and saying Ray's music has been a big influence on him. He did a Ray-inspired version of "Crazy" for his audition and rumors are he plans to do that on the Idols tour this summer, as well.
When asked about meeting the "Mentors" on American Idol, Jason said on a radio station...

Fantastic song writer. Incredible voice
E! just did an interview with him and the rest of the cast from the MMC...a "where are they now" type deal, it was cute.

He lives in LA and does a lot of shows in the area, but he's also been on the road with Ernie Halter lately.

19 years old and has a great voice and good music. Touring right now in the US and most shows are free so your not paying any money to see if I'm right....He's going to be on Conan on the 30th I believe and also The Today's show on that same day. I really ejoy the song "Last Request."

hey guys...i'm a big fan of Ray's and so many of the artists discussed in this forum. i went and saw ray and tristan prettyman in december the day before 2 finals. it was just a show i couldn't miss!

anyways someone i've been checking out lately is mat kearney. his music is an interesting mix of pop rock and spoken word, all woven together w/ heartfelt lyrics and melodies. currently he is up for yahoo music's "who's next?" poll...if you check him out and like what you hear,...

It has only been a little over 24 hours since I have discovered him and already I have worn out his music on my ears. He is an excellent talent. Now I am not saying he will be number one or two on your list or even top 5, but it just might be worth your time to check him out. Two songs I recommend are his cover of "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper (give it a chance it is not how you might think) and even a better song "High and Low" which has caught my ear.
